  • In 2014, YIAC emerged as India’s largest social film movement with 1750+ films and 50,000 participants from 1000 cities and towns across all Indian States
  • YIAC is mentored by eminent individuals from the field of Indian cinema and the development sector including Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Pritish Nandy, Guneet Monga, Vikramaditya Motwane, Shoojit Sarkar, amongst others
  • YIAC Panel Discussion Series launched to further the national discourse on media’s role in accelerating social transformation
  • YIAC Responsible Youth Citizenship Movement launched to engage and empower youth to undertake social action
  • 10 Public Service Announcement films made by the winners of YIAC 2014 under the guidance of YIAC mentors for greater social impact, offering them further engagement with social causes
